Walk 4 Hope: Join the Co-Group in the fight Against Huntington's Disease

Join the Co-Group as we participate in this year's Walk 4 Hope, a meaningful event that brings together families and friends affected by Huntington's disease.

Why Walk?

The Walk 4 Hope is more than just a physical activity; it's a symbol of unity and support. Huntington's disease can often lead to isolation, but this event provides a space for individuals to connect, share their stories, and know they are not alone.

Why Fundraise?

Huntington's Australia (HA), the peak national body for Huntington's disease (HD), relies heavily on fundraising activities like the Walk 4 Hope to support its vital programs and services. Almost half of HA's income (excluding NDIS) comes from generous donations from individuals, corporations, and community events.

Your contribution to the Walk 4 Hope will directly support HA's efforts to:

  • Provide support and resources: Offer a range of services to individuals and families affected by HD, including counseling, support groups, and educational resources.

  • Fund research: Invest in cutting-edge research to advance understanding of HD and develop new treatments.

  • Advocate for policy change: Work towards improving the lives of people with HD through advocacy and policy reform.

By participating in the Walk 4 Hope and fundraising, you are making a tangible difference in the lives of those affected by Huntington's disease.

We invite you to join us on September 29th in Parramatta, NSW, for a 4km walk to raise awareness and funds for Huntington's disease. Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of those affected by this debilitating condition.
